Iraqi President Nizar Amedi received Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Baghdad on Saturday, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said, without giving details of their talks.
The meeting was part of Fidan’s program in Baghdad, where he is attending the 52nd session of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Council of Foreign Ministers, at which Türkiye is handing the chairmanship to Iraq. Earlier in the day, he met Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and Supreme Judicial Council head Faiq Zaidan.
