Al-Awwal Park Stadium in Riyadh hosted the match in which Al Nassr earned its first points in the AFC Champions League Elite. The Saudi Arabian side defeated Uzbekistan's Neftçi 3-1.

Al Nassr's goals came from Brazil's Ângelo Gabriel in the 33rd minute, Cristiano Ronaldo in the 42nd minute and a 78th-minute own goal by Neftçi player Anvarjon Gofurov. Uzbekistan's only goal was scored by Alisher Odilov in the 51st minute.
Ronaldo scored the 981st goal of his career with a shot after receiving a pass from Ayman Yahya.

Al Nassr move up to three points
By defeating Neftçi, Al Nassr earned its first three points in the tournament and moved into eighth place on goal difference. Neftçi, who beat Iraq's Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya 1-0 in their opening match, remained seventh with three points.
A security alert issued in Riyadh after Houthi attacks targeting Saudi Arabia caused the match to start about an hour later than scheduled. The game was played after preparations were repeated and the situation stabilized.
