Hezbollah announced that it repelled two Israeli ground infiltrations in southern Lebanon and carried out 19 attacks targeting Israeli soldiers, military vehicles, and positions. According to the statement, drones, rockets, and artillery fire were used in the attacks.
Regions Mentioned in the Statement
The group reported that an Israeli infantry unit attempted to infiltrate the Maabar area near Kfartibnit in the Nabatieh governorate but encountered a pre-prepared ambush. The statement said explosive devices were detonated, medium-range weapons were used in the clashes, and intense artillery fire forced the Israeli unit to retreat.
Hezbollah also announced that another Israeli unit entered Majdal Zoun in the South governorate, where fighters targeted the unit with light and medium weapons as well as rockets. Several accompanying military vehicles were reportedly destroyed during this operation.
The group further reported hitting an Israeli Yagi military vehicle near a riverbed on the outskirts of Zawtar al-Sharqiya in Nabatieh with an Ababil-type suicide drone. The same statement claimed that a Namera armored vehicle near Tallat al-Salha close to Qantara and another Namera vehicle in Tallat al-Hamamis in southern Khiam were targeted and both vehicles were directly hit.
Hezbollah stated that a Humvee vehicle was also hit in Tallat al-Hamamis, and rocket attacks were launched against Israeli soldiers and vehicles gathered on the southwestern slopes of Majdal Zoun. The area was reportedly fired upon three more times, while near Kfartibnit, two drone attacks and a rocket salvo were carried out.
