The Iran national football team has arrived in Los Angeles from its camp in Mexico to prepare for a friendly match against Belgium.
The team held its final training session in Los Angeles at Carson Sports Park.
A group of protesters, having learned of the training session, staged a demonstration at the entrance to the facility.
Under heavy security measures, the team left through another gate of the facility and moved to the hotel where it would be staying.
The protesters also went to the front of the team's hotel and chanted slogans.
The Iran national football team had previously faced protests in front of the same hotel before its match against New Zealand in Los Angeles.
