Iran's Judiciary Chief Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei made important statements at a book launch ceremony held in Tehran. The ceremony hosted the introduction of a book about the life and views of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei.
In his speech, Ejei stated that the Iranian people have been mourning their martyred leader for over four months and have raised the banner of revenge. He stressed that the US and Israel will have to pay the price for the crimes they committed against the Iranian nation.
The judiciary chief recalled that all international conventions, including the Geneva Conventions and their additional protocols, contain clear provisions regarding war criminals, and said, 'We will pursue them with determination, prosecute and punish them. We will also compel them to compensate the damages they inflicted on the Iranian nation.'
Mohseni Ejei stated that Iran will continue to strongly and resolutely support the Axis of Resistance, and that they will back any action against the US and the Zionist oppressors.
Addressing neighboring countries, Ejei called on them to be more vigilant against the 'evil and baseness of the enemies of Islam.' He added that Iran supports all neighboring countries as long as they do not stand in the enemy's ranks.
