Libyan PM Dbeibah receives Turkish intelligence chief Kalın in Tripoli
Libya's Government of National Unity Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah received Turkish intelligence chief İbrahim Kalın in Tripoli, where they discussed political and security developments in Libya, regional issues and bilateral cooperation.
Libya's Government of National Unity Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah received Turkish National Intelligence Organization chief İbrahim Kalın in the capital, Tripoli.
The two discussed political and security developments in Libya, regional issues and cooperation between the two countries. Kalın also met Presidential Council head Mohamed al-Menfi in Tripoli.
The visit coincided with the approval by Libya's Benghazi-based House of Representatives of the 2019 maritime jurisdiction memorandum with Türkiye, and its annulment of earlier decisions rejecting the two memorandums and calling for political ties with Ankara to be cut.
