New York City Councilman Mamdani targets pro-Israel lobby AIPAC
New York City Councilman Zohran Mamdani targeted the pro-Israel lobbying group AIPAC in the US, calling the current order an "immoral status quo." Mamdani highlighted the killing of Palestinians in his remarks.
New York City Councilman Zohran Mamdani made sharp statements targeting the pro-Israel lobbying group AIPAC in the United States.
"We are talking about a status quo where children are killed daily," Mamdani said, claiming that over 1,000 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli army since the "so-called ceasefire."
Describing AIPAC as "an organization that supports the status quo and opposes every attempt to provide real security for people not only in Palestine but across much of the region," Mamdani stated, "This is an immoral status quo, and I will not accept it."
