In a drone attack targeting the area near the Abu Aasi entrance of the Bureij Refugee Camp in central Gaza Strip, one Palestinian lost his life and many others were injured, some seriously.
According to local sources, the strike hit civilians gathered near the camp entrance. Some of the injured are reported to be in critical condition.
Destruction Continues in Gaza City
In the eastern parts of Gaza City, houses and buildings were destroyed, and military activity continues in the area. Intense activity was also reported along the city’s border line.
In the south, gunfire targeted the northeastern areas of Khan Yunis, with ongoing artillery shelling and low-altitude flights of aerial vehicles over the city.
Ceasefire Violations Affect Daily Life
These attacks occurred amid a period when the ceasefire agreement is being violated almost daily. These violations have resulted in hundreds of deaths and injuries.
Health officials in Gaza announced that in the last 48 hours, two dead and 11 injured were brought to hospitals. Some of the deaths were bodies recovered from previously targeted areas.
Authorities stated that some people remain trapped under rubble and on roads, with health and civil defense teams struggling to reach them.
Official Toll Worsens
The Ministry of Health reported that since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, 983 people have died, 3,122 have been injured, and 783 bodies have been recovered from the rubble.
The same statement noted that since October 7, 2023, the total death toll in Gaza has risen to 72,993, with 173,230 injured.
The ongoing bombardment, destruction, and conditions restricting rescue teams’ movements continue to increase pressure on civilian life in the region.
