Saudi Arabia says it destroyed Houthi drones and missiles
Saudi Arabia said its air defense systems destroyed unmanned aerial vehicles and ballistic missiles launched by the Houthis at Riyadh and Khamis Mushait. Forces affiliated with Yemen’s government said they had seized two areas in Lahij.
Forces affiliated with Yemen’s government announced that they had taken control of the summit of strategic Mount Numan and the Dar al-Kafir area in Lahij governorate.
The Homeland Shield Forces, Giants Brigades and tribal members said they had captured the two areas after an operation targeting them in Lahij.
Saudi Arabia said its air defense systems had destroyed unmanned aerial vehicles and ballistic missiles launched by the Iran-backed Houthis at Riyadh and the Khamis Mushait area in the country’s southwest.
Meanwhile, Saudi and Yemeni officials discussed strengthening military coordination in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
