Türkiye’s ambassador to Qatar, Yakup Caymazoğlu, hosted Marco Neelsen, chief executive of QTerminals Group, and his accompanying delegation at the Turkish Embassy in Doha.
The embassy announced the meeting but gave no details of the topics discussed.

Operator of Hamad and Antalya ports
QTerminals was set up in 2016 by Mwani Qatar, the country’s ports management company, and shipping company Milaha to operate Hamad Port. Mwani Qatar holds 51% of the company and Milaha 49%.
The company is also active in Türkiye. QTerminals completed its acquisition of the Port of Antalya (Port Akdeniz) on the Mediterranean from Global Ports Holding in 2021, and in 2023 signed a 19-year extension of the concession that allows it to run the port until 2047.
Neelsen has served as group CEO of QTerminals since Aug. 3, 2025. He was previously an executive director at MMC Ports Holding in Malaysia and earlier served as CEO of Malaysia’s Port of Tanjung Pelepas.
