Deputy FM Kulaklıkaya holds bilateral talks in Baghdad on OIC meeting sidelines
Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Musa Kulaklıkaya met U.N. Alliance of Civilizations High Representative Miguel Ángel Moratinos and Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Yalçın Rafiyev in Baghdad on the sidelines of the 52nd session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers.
Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Musa Kulaklıkaya held two separate meetings in the Iraqi capital Baghdad on the sidelines of the 52nd session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers, the Turkish Foreign Ministry announced.
Meeting with Moratinos
Kulaklıkaya met Miguel Ángel Moratinos, the U.N. Alliance of Civilizations High Representative and U.N. Special Envoy to Combat Islamophobia.
Talks with Azerbaijani deputy foreign minister
On the margins of the same meeting, Kulaklıkaya also met Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Yalçın Rafiyev. The ministry did not give details of what was discussed.
The Baghdad meeting
The 52nd session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers convened in Baghdad on Oct. 17-18 under the theme “Dialogue and Solidarity: Two Pillars for Promoting Peace and Sustainable Development.”
