Nearing 1 million passengers a year
According to the Turkish Embassy in Mogadishu, Aden Adde International Airport is approaching 1 million passengers a year, thanks to the vision and support of the Somali authorities and Favori LLC’s investments.
The embassy said Favori has so far made many investments at the airport, including a new terminal building, a new cargo building, a new hangar and a CIP building.

Airport hotel and a chat with a veteran employee
Alkan also visited the Décalé Airport Hotel, owned by the Kozuva Group, which opened in 2019.
Alkan and Kozuva also chatted with Aden Ali Buur, a veteran employee who has worked for Favori at the airport for more than a decade.
The embassy stressed that Turkish companies continue to contribute to Somalia’s international connectivity, its economy, employment and tourism.
