Brussels Airlines and union representatives have agreed on a new arrangement following a dispute over assigning staff to Tel Aviv flights.
Under the agreement, pilots and cabin crew can refuse to work on flights to and from Tel Aviv.
Unions had warned of a strike
Brussels Airlines resumed flights between Brussels and Tel Aviv in August. During the first weeks of service, assignments were distributed among volunteer staff.
However, the decision to include Tel Aviv flights in the regular work schedule from September and begin assigning staff to them drew opposition from the unions.
The ACV Puls union had warned of a strike, saying that an agreement stipulating that only volunteers would be assigned to flights to Israel had been breached.
