U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said 100 commercial vessels changed their routes within 60 days after the naval blockade of Iran was reinstated.
CENTCOM said in a statement on X that the blockade it said was being enforced in the Strait of Hormuz remained in place without interruption. The command also claimed that no vessel had passed through the blockade without authorization from U.S. forces.

CENTCOM said the United States first began enforcing the naval blockade of Iran on April 13. It said the blockade was suspended on June 18 under an agreement between the two countries, and that the U.S. military announced it had resumed enforcement on July 14 after the agreement broke down.
