Under the instruction of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, 30,000 food parcels are being delivered to families living in the Euphrates Shield Operation region in Syria. As part of the shipment carried out in cooperation with the General Directorate of Foundations and AFAD, the aid parcels sent with 30 trucks are being transported to warehouses in Hatay and Kilis.
According to the shipment schedule, by the end of July, 10,000 parcels will be delivered to AFAD warehouses in Kilis Çobanbey, and 18,000 parcels to the Hatay Provincial Disaster and Emergency Directorate warehouses. The aid, consisting of basic non-perishable food items such as flour, tomato paste, oil, legumes, pasta, and rice, is planned to be completed by the end of the month.
The food parcels also contain an Arabic solidarity letter penned by President Erdoğan. In the letter, Erdoğan said, "Dear Syrian brothers and sisters, Turkey and the Turkish nation stand with you today, as they did yesterday, and will tomorrow."
Praising the struggle of Syrians despite all hardships, Erdoğan said, "After the revolution, you have made significant progress in recovering your country and standing up again in unity and solidarity. As Turkey, we have always supported this beautiful progress."
In his letter, Erdoğan conveyed the message, "As we have always said, we have been here for a thousand years, together, neighbors. God willing, we will be here until doomsday, living together." Stressing that all segments of Syria must move forward with a shared vision for the future, he added, "As your neighbor and brother, just as we did not leave you alone in your struggle for freedom and justice, we will support you with all our means in your development struggle."

Meanwhile, President Erdoğan held a phone call with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez. According to a statement from the Directorate of Communications, Erdoğan congratulated the Spanish national team on their World Cup victory.
During the call, Erdoğan said he found it particularly valuable that the people watching the match amid the rubble in Gaza showed joy at Spain's championship. He stated that Spain's conscientious and moral stance on Palestine has also resonated in the hearts of football fans worldwide.
Erdoğan also conveyed that he was pleased to host Sanchez at the NATO Ankara Summit and that he would be happy to welcome him again in Turkey for the Turkey-Spain Intergovernmental Summit in early 2027. It was reported that President Erdoğan also spoke by phone with Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics yesterday.
