Hamas: consultations continue with mediators for Gaza cease-fire
Hamas Spokesperson Hazim Qasim said consultations continue with Egypt, Qatar and Turkey on approaches to ensure full implementation of the ceasefire agreement. He added that a delegation will visit Cairo within a few days to respond to new proposals.
Hamas Spokesperson Hazim Qasim announced on Friday that consultations continue with mediators to ensure the full implementation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
In a statement to Anadolu Agency, Qasim said: "Contacts and dialogue continue between Palestinian groups, Hamas, and mediators (Egypt, Qatar and Turkey) to reach comprehensive approaches regarding the full implementation of the ceasefire."
The spokesperson stated that these approaches also cover the remaining part of the first stage and the establishment of mechanisms for implementing the second stage.
Qasim also said that a delegation from Hamas and other groups will visit Cairo in the coming days to respond to the newly presented approaches.
