Iran Army Spokesperson Brigadier General Mohammad Akrami Nia announced at a ceremony in the city of Amol that Iran will continue its resistance until the US leaves the region. The spokesperson argued that the US presence in the region does not bring security to regional countries.
Akrami Nia said the idea that the US could seize control of the Strait of Hormuz by targeting Iran's coastal bases is a misconception. "The Islamic Republic of Iran has the capacity to control the Strait of Hormuz from any point in the country, and this is never dependent on coasts and islands," he said.
The Iranian spokesperson noted that countries providing military bases to the US pay heavy costs in trade and security. "Imported security is not lasting security. True security is achieved when regional countries themselves ensure stability and peace without foreigners," he said.
Akrami Nia warned that if the enemy continues attacks, Iran possesses capabilities that have not been used so far and could affect regional equations. Stating that the conflict is being managed and can be sustained for years if necessary, the spokesperson said, "The enemy does not have the capacity for a prolonged war, and this is one of its weaknesses."

The Iran Army Spokesperson also expressed his belief that the US President will change his stance in the coming days and ultimately seek dialogue, peace, and agreement. Akrami Nia added that the honor of Iran and the Islamic Republic is the precious legacy of the martyred Leader, and that the armed forces draw their strength from the support of the Iranian people.
