Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi drew attention to the tension in the region in his statements directed at the US administration. Gharibabadi stressed that Iran will take a firm stance against any attack.
"Our armed forces will respond decisively to the aggressive actions of the American regime," the Iranian official said, adding that the military is actively carrying out its defensive duties.
Gharibabadi stated, "We will not leave any attack or action against the Iranian nation unanswered, and we will deliver crushing blows in response."
Addressing Washington directly, Gharibabadi said the escalation path pursued by the US administration is futile. "The American regime and its president must know that this path they have walked before has only resulted in failure," he said.
The Iranian official recalled that they have dealt heavy blows to their adversaries in the past, saying, "We have previously inflicted heavy defeats on both the US and the Zionist regime."
