Iran's Deputy Chief of General Staff Major General Ali Abdollahi accused the US of causing escalation in the region. The Iranian commander argued that the path followed by Washington is the result of a dangerous strategy aiming to establish illegal dominance across the region.
US strategy toward Muslim countries criticized
Major General Abdollahi claimed that the Washington administration, which he called the 'criminal US', did not refrain from carrying out all kinds of attacks on the interests and resources of Muslim nations in its recent war against Iran. Abdollahi claimed that the US used the capital, infrastructure and strategic resources of Muslim countries in the region as a defense shield for its weakened army.
The Iranian general also asserted that the US used these resources to strengthen Israel's military machine and security. Noting that the forces of Iran and the resistance front have proven that the regional balance of power no longer operates according to old equations, Abdollahi said that the US's failure to achieve its aggressive goals against Iran pushed Washington to wage war through the territories of Muslim countries.
Warning of 'war fire' to Muslim countries
Abdollahi stressed that Muslim countries should 'act prudently' and closely monitor the US's crimes. Calling on these countries to reconsider their current cooperation or alignment with Washington, the Iranian general warned that otherwise any country that turns itself into a defense shield for the US would 'burn in the war fire'.
The Iranian commander added that US failures are forcing the 'worn-out US army and the fake Zionist regime' to attack from behind the trenches of Muslim countries, shifting the costs of war onto regional governments.
