Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, in a statement on Sunday, expressed deep condolences for Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, his family members, and other Iranians who were martyred in the last war for the honor of Iran and Islam.
Pezeshkian said, "There is nothing more meaningful than conduct. People can say many things. If I say something, only a few who know Persian will understand, but the conduct and presence of our people is understood by the whole world."
"This grandeur, the tears flowing from the eyes of girls, boys and children, arises from the pain and sorrow swelling inside, and the world sees this truth. More meaningful than all words and speeches is the conduct of our dear people at the funeral of our beloved Leader," he added.
The Iranian President stated, "When we say we are bidding farewell, I do not accept that interpretation; this is actually not a farewell, but a pledge to continue on the path of the martyred Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei."
