Iran’s Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei sent a written message to Sunni scholars in the southern province of Hormozgan, thanking them for their expressions of unity and loyalty. The message highlighted the significance of the condolences and loyalty statements issued by the Sunni clerics following the assassinations of former leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and senior commanders.
Hormozgan representative and Bandar Abbas Friday prayer leader Mohammad Ebadizadeh stated that the message was sent with the aim of strengthening national solidarity and deepening ties between different segments of the Islamic community. He also noted that Sunni scholars in the region had condemned the attacks carried out by Israel and the United States and expressed their allegiance to the new leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei. The leader’s written response underscores the role of religious leaders in advancing national objectives.
