A Palestinian was injured on Friday when Israeli settlers attacked farmers harvesting olives in the town of Beita, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, Anadolu reported. The Palestinian Red Crescent said its teams treated a 46-year-old man who was beaten by settlers. Witnesses told Anadolu that the Israeli army later stormed the Jabal al-Arma area, firing stun grenades and tear gas and forcing farmers to leave their land.

Farmer Saqr al-Jabali said troops forced them out despite the presence of foreign activists supporting them, adding that olive oil production this year may not exceed 20%.
