Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) reported that they had carried out attacks on US military targets in Bahrain and Oman. In a statement made during the day, the IRGC said that US facilities in the Juffair area of Bahrain were struck and flames were seen rising from the targets.
As part of the same wave of attacks, a long-range FPS air radar and a ship detection radar in the Sultanate of Oman were also destroyed.
In its statement, the IRGC referred to a US attack targeting an agricultural water pump in the Iranian town of Mahshahr, accusing Washington of 'inhumane behavior'.
In a message regarding the Strait of Hormuz, it said: 'The only way to reopen ship traffic in the strait is for the occupying American military to end its interventions there and for the sovereignty of countries over their coastal waters to be respected.' It warned that if US intervention continues, it will 'cause bigger events in the oil and gas world'.
