As Israeli military activity continues in Syria’s southern Quneitra province, seven military vehicles entered Tirinjah village in the northern countryside.
Al-Ikhbariya channel reported that the military vehicles had advanced into the village but provided no further information about the operation.
Earlier the same day, Israeli forces killed a civilian during a raid on Jumla village in the Daraa countryside, shortly before entering Quneitra. The Syrian Arab News Agency reported that the victim had a disability and that the body was taken to Daraa National Hospital.
Officials did not disclose the civilian’s name or the nature of the disability.
Artillery fire in the Daraa countryside
On Wednesday evening, the Israeli army targeted the area around Abidin town in the Yarmouk Basin in the western countryside of Daraa with artillery fire.

The Syrian Arab News Agency reported that two artillery shells landed west of the town. No information was provided on whether anyone was injured or property damage occurred.
Damascus calls on the international community
Syria’s Foreign Ministry condemned the increase in Israeli raids in Quneitra province and the Daraa countryside on Sunday. The ministry said that helicopter, reconnaissance and fighter aircraft flights had intensified in southern Syria alongside the raids.
The ministry said the continuation of the violations weakened the prospects for establishing stability and security in Syria and the region and hindered reconstruction and recovery efforts. The Damascus government called on the international community to stop the violations and compel Israel to comply with international law and relevant United Nations resolutions.
Israel has occupied most of Syria’s Golan Heights since 1967. After the Bashar al-Assad government was overthrown in late 2024, Israel declared that the 1974 Disengagement of Forces Agreement had collapsed. Israel also took control of several areas on the Syrian side, including the buffer zone and the Syrian side of Mount Sheikh.
