Palestinian UN envoy: Israel has killed 22,000 Palestinian children, including over 1,000 babies
Palestine’s representative at the United Nations told the Security Council that Israel has killed 22,000 Palestinian children, including more than 1,000 babies, criticizing the questioning of Palestinian casualty figures and innocence.
Palestine’s representative to the United Nations told a Security Council session on the Middle East and the Palestinian question that Israel has killed 22,000 Palestinian children, including more than 1,000 babies.
“When Israelis were killed, their humanity was never questioned. When Palestinians are killed, we have seen debates about their numbers, their innocence questioned, and the characterization of their deaths become an endless debate,” the envoy said.
Security Council session
The remarks were made at a Security Council session on Palestine and the crisis in the Middle East, where Türkiye’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ahmet Yıldız, also spoke on behalf of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, calling for strong steps to protect Palestinians.
