Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian assessed the country’s economic and social situation at a meeting of the East Azerbaijan Province Planning and Development Council, which he attended online.
Referring to the early period of the revolution that took place in 1979, Pezeshkian said economic and social problems were resolved around mosques in those years. Pezeshkian said people living in neighborhoods needed to be aware of one another’s economic and social circumstances, recalling the spirit of solidarity in the past.

Pezeshkian said, "In the 48 years since the revolution, the country has never faced such intense pressure and hardship."

The Iranian president argued that the enemies sought to create instability in the country by targeting former Iranian leader Ali Khamenei as well as some commanders and officials.
Pezeshkian said there had been no instability in the country and that, on the contrary, unity and solidarity had increased.
