The East-West pipeline in the Riyadh-Medina region was closed as a precaution by decision of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Energy following a series of attacks carried out on September 10.
The ministry said injuries occurred as a result of the attacks. Emergency teams and specialist technical crews began work to secure the pipeline.
Houthi military spokesman Yahya Sarea had earlier said that they would respond to attacks targeting Saudi-owned vessels. Sarea claimed that 32 Saudi-owned warplanes had been targeted and that nine of them had been shot down.
