The colors of the flags of Türkiye, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan illuminated major buildings and towers across Saudi Arabia on Saturday night.
The display was held after the joint defense agreement was signed in Mecca and was among the events celebrating the signing.

The agreement signed in Mecca
Türkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif signed a joint defense agreement between the three countries in Mecca on Friday.
Under the agreement, an armed attack against any one of the three countries will be considered an attack against all of them. The agreement also aims to strengthen joint deterrence and develop cooperation in the field of defense.
Common ground on security
The joint defense agreement was signed after years of talks aimed at establishing a basis for cooperation between Riyadh, Ankara and Islamabad against security challenges and military threats.
The three countries aim to further strengthen defense cooperation based on strategic common interests and existing relations.
