Saudi fighter jets launched a wave of airstrikes on Sanaa and its surroundings on Friday evening as crowds were leaving a mass rally in Al-Sabeen Square, according to the Houthi-run Yemen Press Agency.
Initial reports said the strikes hit Sanaa International Airport, Mount Attan south of the capital and the Fundhukh area of Bani Hashish district, with more than 10 strikes on Attan and Fundhukh, as well as telecom facilities in Bilad Al-Rus and Arhab. There was no confirmed information on casualties.

The raids follow a Houthi ballistic missile attack on Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport on Thursday that killed three Saudi citizens, and a 24-hour Saudi bombing campaign across several Houthi-held provinces.
