Ghanadzadeh, an official from the Iran Trade Promotion Organization (TPO), announced that trade between Iran and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has resumed after a 12-day war.
Ghanadzadeh emphasized that the Jebel Ali Port is one of the most important transit hubs for trade between the two countries and that a large portion of commercial exchanges take place through this port.
Ghanadzadeh stated that cargo transportation and transit operations at the port were halted during the 12-day war, adding that many Iranian containers were stranded in Jebel Ali and traders were unable to retrieve their goods.
With the easing of tensions and the return of relative calm to the region, the official said that the evacuation of Iranian cargo and containers has resumed, and announced that trade routes between Iran and the UAE are gradually reopening.
Ghanadzadeh noted that commercial activities are steadily recovering and expressed hope that bilateral trade would soon return to pre-war levels.
