US President Donald Trump said intensified military strikes on Iran after the Nov. 3 midterm elections are “likely.” Asked by TIME magazine whether he would bomb Iran again after the vote, he said it was likely, adding: “I can’t tell you that because, you know, you’re asking ‘where will you bomb.’”

Addressing concerns about munitions stockpiles, Trump said the US has “a lot of weapons,” describing mid- and high-end munitions as very powerful and more effective than ever. Asked about his remark last week that Iran could be eliminated, he said: “Yes, I will do that, it’s possible.”
