Turkish envoy in Doha meets ICRC delegation heads
Türkiye’s Ambassador to Qatar Yakup Caymazoğlu met Julien Lerisson, head of the ICRC delegation for Israel and the occupied territories, and Charles Sabga, head of the ICRC delegation in Qatar.
Türkiye’s Ambassador to Qatar Yakup Caymazoğlu held a meeting at the embassy with Julien Lerisson, head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation for Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories, ICRC Qatar head of delegation Charles Sabga and their team.
The ICRC says it supported the return of 195 hostages from Gaza, 35 of them deceased, and facilitated the return of more than 6,000 released Palestinian detainees during the war, while its Red Cross Field Hospital in Gaza has provided more than 52,400 consultations.
