U.S. President Donald Trump is preparing to provide additional air support to Israel while considering increasing military pressure on Iran. According to Axios, the U.S. administration plans to send dozens more tanker aircraft to Israel amid the possibility of expanded attacks on Iran.

According to a report citing three U.S. and one Israeli official, President Trump reviewed new military plans in the White House Situation Room on July 14. U.S. officials said the options on the table included strikes on Iranian infrastructure such as power plants and intensifying attacks on nuclear facilities.
Underground Facility at Mount Pikaks Also a Target
Another option being considered is the bombing of an underground facility under construction in the Mount Pikaks area. Sources stressed that no final decision has been made on these operations. They also said Trump is weighing increasing military pressure to force Tehran to open the Strait of Hormuz and accept demands related to its nuclear program.

Number of Tanker Aircraft to Be Increased
An Israeli source claimed that the U.S. administration plans to send several dozen more tanker aircraft to Israel in the coming days and has informed the Israeli government. There are currently about 60 U.S. tanker planes at Ben-Gurion and Ramon airports. The arrival of the additional aircraft is intended to bring the number back to the level seen at the start of the conflict between the U.S./Israel and Iran.
