US Vice President JD Vance commented on the implementation of the memorandum of understanding reached with Iran. Vance stated that Iran is complying with the deal, and that the Tehran administration can establish contact in case of any disagreement.
In a post on social media platform X, Vance commented on a statement by the US Central Command (CENTCOM) regarding airstrikes against Iran.
"Iran signed a ceasefire agreement. We are abiding by it," Vance said. "If they have disagreements about how the memorandum of understanding is being implemented, they can call." The US Vice President added that they will respond to violence with violence.
In an earlier statement, CENTCOM announced that the airstrikes against Iran were conducted as a decisive response to an attack on a commercial vessel passing through the Strait of Hormuz the previous day.
