Yemeni army downs Saudi spy drone that violated airspace
Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Yahya Saree announced that a Saudi spy drone that entered the country's airspace was shot down. Saree stated that they are ready to respond to any violation of Yemen's sovereignty.
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they shot down a Saudi spy drone. Army spokesman Yahya Saree stated that the drone, which violated the airspace, was neutralized using an 'appropriate weapon'.
Spokesman Saree emphasized that they are fully prepared to repel any attack on Yemen's airspace and sovereignty. He added that any violation will be met with a strong response.
This incident occurred after an alleged Saudi targeting of the airport in the capital Sanaa. The Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they targeted Saudi Arabia's Abha Airport in retaliation.
