The increase in France’s military equipment exports to Israel drew criticism from Amnesty International France. The organization argued that this support contributes to what it describes as genocide in Gaza.
National arms export data submitted to Parliament by France’s Defense Ministry during the summer showed that the value of exports to Israel was €16.1 million in 2024 and €19.8 million in 2025.
Amnesty International said the figures contradict statements by Israeli officials that no arms were being sold to Israel. The organization also said France’s statements that it stands with the Palestinian people do not align with the export data.

The organization, which said thousands of people had been killed in Gaza, called on the French government not to continue arms trade with Israel. The statement emphasized that France must not become complicit in crimes committed by Israel.
The debate over France’s shipments of arms and ammunition to Israel also resurfaced over an allegation concerning an Air France flight. French trade unions claimed that materials belonging to an Israeli defense company had been transported on a flight from Paris to Tel Aviv, while Air France denied the allegation.
