Bomb attack on Internal Security Forces bus in Damascus countryside injures personnel
Some security personnel were injured when a bomb attack targeted an Internal Security Forces personnel bus on the Ma'runa-Tall road in the Damascus countryside. Saudi Arabia called the attack a terrorist act and expressed solidarity with the Syrian government.
Saudi Arabia condemned the bomb attack targeting an Internal Security Forces personnel bus in the Damascus countryside.
Some security personnel were injured when an explosive device detonated on the bus traveling along the Ma'runa-Tall road. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals.
The method of the attack is under investigation
Relevant teams were dispatched to the scene after the explosion. An investigation was launched to determine how the attack was carried out.
Riyadh expresses solidarity with Syria
The Saudi Foreign Ministry described the attack as a terrorist act and condemned it.
The ministry's statement said Saudi Arabia stood in full solidarity with the Syrian government. The statement expressed support for Syria's efforts to combat extremism and terrorism, wished security and peace for the Syrian people and country, and extended wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured.
