Fidan discusses Gaza humanitarian crisis and ceasefire violations with UK counterpart Miliband
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed the situation in Gaza and regional developments with UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband during a phone call. They also addressed the latest situation in the Russia-Ukraine war.
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone call with the UK's new Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband.
During the call, the latest situation in the Middle East and the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, as well as efforts to end the conflicts in the region, were discussed. Fidan congratulated Miliband on his new post.
The two ministers also assessed the latest developments in the Russia-Ukraine war.
Palestinian claim of ceasefire violation
On the same day, Palestinian Presidential Spokesperson Nabil Abu Rudeineh said that the agreement on the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire "remains on paper." He stressed that Israeli attacks are continuing.
