Gaziantep governorate has rejected applications to visit Syria that were filed through companies because six-month insurance had not been paid, according to Dalil, a guide site for Arabs and Syrians in Türkiye, citing an official announcement.
The new requirement applies to both old and new applications, meaning those who applied earlier must meet it and reapply rather than wait for an answer.

According to the announcement, the conditions are: the company must be at least one year old at registration, have capital of 1.5 million lira, provide a newly dated invitation letter, submit original documents when extending a visit, and hold six-month insurance.
Gaziantep says it is following Kilis, which requires three months of insurance. Each border province issues the commercial permit separately, so applicants should check with the migration directorate in their own province.
