Iraq and US agree to resume cash-dollar shipments delayed over Baghdad’s Iran stance
Iraqi Government Spokesperson Haydar al-Abboudi announced that an agreement had been reached to continue shipments of cash dollars during Prime Minister Ali al-Zaydi’s visit to the United States. Abboudi said the new shipment would be made in the coming days and that the agreement followed progress on oversight of dollar distribution and regulations governing dollar use.
