Commenting on Iran, US President Trump argued that Tehran wants to reach an agreement with the United States.
Asked what step the US would take regarding a war with Iran as the November 3 elections approached, Trump said he would sit down only if it was for the “right” deal. Trump said Iran had lost in every respect and was therefore seeking an agreement.
Trump said no decision had yet been made on whether to launch another attack against Iran, adding that all options remained open.
The US president also announced that Washington was holding talks with the Houthis and that the parties were assessing whether an agreement was possible.
