Iraq to declare full sovereignty on Sept. 30 as coalition forces leave
Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaydi announced that full sovereignty over the entire country will be declared on Sept. 30. The same date is also emerging as the deadline for international coalition forces to leave Iraq and for Shia armed groups to hand over their weapons to the state.
