Israel’s Foreign Ministry issued a security warning to its citizens in Greece ahead of pro-Palestinian protests planned for Sunday.
The ministry urged Israelis not to go to demonstration and protest sites, not to display symbols identifying them as Israeli or Jewish, and to avoid confronting protesters. Citizens were also advised not to share their current locations on social media platforms.

Call for a national day of action for Palestine
Events planned under the slogan “national day of action for Palestine” are expected to cover at least 91 locations. Demonstrations will be held across Greece, including the capital Athens and Thessaloniki, as well as tourist areas on the islands of Crete, Rhodes, Kos, Mykonos, Corfu and Zakynthos.
Pro-Palestinian demonstrators are calling on the Greek government to halt military cooperation with Israel, ban arms exports and impose sanctions on Israel.
Protesters are also demanding that visa requirements for Israeli citizens be reinstated and that Greek authorities open investigations into Israeli soldiers entering Greece on suspicion of war crimes.
The warning from Israel’s Foreign Ministry came amid continued international opposition to Israel and pro-Palestinian protests over the war in Gaza.
