A graduation ceremony planned for Al-Quds University students could not be held after Israeli forces intervened, and four people were detained.
The Jerusalem Governorate administration said soldiers entered the historic Tankiz Khan building near Al-Aqsa Mosque and prevented the ceremony from taking place. Permission was denied for the ceremony planned at the building, which dates back to the Mamluk period.
Those detained included the director of the Center for Jerusalem Studies at Al-Quds University and the president of the Jerusalem Tourism Association.
