Israeli soldiers raided the office of the Huda radio station, which broadcasts the Holy Quran, in the West Bank city of Qalqilya. During the raid, soldiers backed by bulldozers seized all broadcasting equipment and materials in the office and shut down the radio center.
The Israeli army posted a notice at the entrance of the radio building stating, 'This organization has been declared illegal and closed on the grounds that it is involved in and supports terrorism.' No statement has yet been made regarding the duration of the closure order or the fate of the seized materials.
