Israeli warplanes strike Gaza City's Tuffah neighborhood
Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike on the Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City on Wednesday evening. No casualty figures have been announced yet.
Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike on the Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City on the evening of Wednesday, September 30. Footage recorded by Ahmed Abdelal shows flashes of explosions and plumes of smoke rising over the neighborhood at night.
There has been no official statement yet on whether anyone was killed or injured in the strike.
Tuffah had also been targeted earlier in the day, when an Israeli drone strike on the roof of a house on al-Nafaq Street killed a woman and seriously injured her husband.
Anadolu Agency reported that Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip killed 8 Palestinians and injured 23 despite the ceasefire. According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, 1,422 Palestinians have been killed and 4,996 injured in Israeli attacks since the ceasefire took effect.
