Trabzonspor's Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah moved to the top of the Turkish Super Lig scoring chart after eight weeks, raising his tally to eight with a goal against Beşiktaş. He is followed on seven goals each by Başakşehir's Eldor Shomurodov, Amed Sportif Faaliyetler's Gift Orban and Fenerbahçe's Vedat Muric.
Salah has scored eight of Trabzonspor's 18 league goals so far. Seven came at Papara Park, where he has scored in all four home games: three against Galatasaray, two against Başakşehir and one each against Gençlerbirliği and Beşiktaş.

His only away league goal came against Amed Sportif Faaliyetler, and he also scored in Trabzonspor's 4-2 win at KuPS Kuopio in the UEFA Conference League. Salah made his Trabzonspor debut in the first week of the season away at Kasımpaşa.
