Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani discussed regional developments and relations between the two countries during a phone call on Tuesday.

The call covered bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Qatar, as well as the latest developments in the region. The leaders also discussed efforts to ensure security and stability.

The phone call took place at a time when tensions between Iran and the United States were escalating, and the effects of disruptions to maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz on global oil and goods supplies were on the agenda.
