Following attacks carried out by Yemen’s Houthis against Saudi Arabia during the day, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened security officials at the Kirya military compound in Tel Aviv.
The meeting, attended by Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, addressed the possibility of escalating tensions with Iran.

The meeting also covered the situation in the Gaza Strip, where the Israeli army has continued its attacks despite ceasefire agreements, as well as developments in Lebanon.
Major General Ali Abdollahi, Iran’s chief of staff and commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, warned on September 5 that the war would expand if the United States and Israel launched another attack.
