Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi called for participation in the Egypt 2026 Dialogue Forum, which is planned to bring together different segments of the country, and launched the preparatory process.
On Thursday, Sisi made the forum's website accessible and called for participant registration to begin in a statement posted on Facebook. Academic and social consultations are planned to be held ahead of the event, while the forum itself is scheduled to take place from October 19 to 24.

Sisi called on state institutions, experts and Egyptians with diverse views and orientations to register for the forum, share their ideas and submit their proposals. He said the country's future would be built together through participation and dialogue.
The second broad-based dialogue meeting under Sisi
The Egypt 2026 Forum will be the second dialogue meeting launched by Sisi since he assumed the presidency in 2014 to include different segments of society. The first meeting in this area was the National Dialogue Conference.

Sisi made Egypt's first call for a national dialogue in April 2022. Work by the board of trustees tasked with preparations began on July 5 of the same year, while the national dialogue itself began in May 2023.
